At Journey to STEAM, we are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for students of all abilities. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to explore, learn, and thrive in our programs.

Support for Students with High Needs:

A woman in an orange shirt and glasses teaches a group of children in a classroom setting. The children are gathered around a table, focused on a tablet, with some standing and others sitting, in a well-lit room with large windows.

We recognize that some students may require additional support to successfully and safely engage in our activities. If a student has needs that extend beyond what can reasonably be expected within the structure of our program (with a standard 18:1 student-teacher ratio), we require that an adult who is very familiar with the child’s needs accompany the student to our program.

This adult will assist and actively supervise the child throughout all activities, ensuring that they can fully participate in and enjoy the learning experience. We welcome the adult’s presence and will include them in the program, integrating them into our learning process to foster a successful and enriching experience for the student.

Our goal is to provide a supportive and inclusive environment where all students can engage in STEM learning, and we appreciate the collaboration and understanding of families in making this possible.

For more information or to discuss specific needs, please contact us prior to enrollment so we can ensure the best possible experience for your child.
