One-night events where kids and grown-ups build, test and try again together.
Funded seats
Fund seats for your families. Partners reserve seats so kids can join at no cost to their families.
Preschool STEAM
Hands-on STEAM for ages 3 to 5, built for early learners.

You enroll your families and we invoice you. Or families register and pay online through enrops.
What partners count on
- Screened and trained instructors. Every instructor is background checked and trained in child protection and mandatory reporting before the first class, with annual safety and first aid refreshers. We hire fewer than 10% of applicants.
- Everything in the box. Curriculum written by educators and every material, brought to your space.
- Small groups by age. A 4-year-old and an 11-year-old each get a challenge built for them.
- Numbers for your reports. Attendance is recorded digitally for every session.
- Built by an educator. Dr. Arielle Hammond, Ed.D., led schools for eight years. Her doctoral research focused on equity, access and STEM identity in K-12 enrichment.

Community partnership questions
Is Journey to STEAM a nonprofit?
No. Journey to STEAM is a local education company. Nonprofits and community organizations bring us in to run programs for the families they serve, and some fund seats for those families.
Can our families attend at no cost?
Yes, when your organization funds the seats. Families can also apply for need-based scholarships through the Journey to STEAM Scholarship Fund. See scholarships.
Who handles registration?
Your choice. You enroll your families and we invoice you, or families register and pay online through enrops.
Can you run programs at our location?
Yes. At your center, community school, library or community space in Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas counties in Oregon and Clark County in Washington. We bring everything.
Can you share attendance for our reports?
Yes. Attendance is recorded digitally for every session, and we share attendance for your program with you.
What ages do you serve?
Ages 3 to 12, grouped by age.
