What we run with parks and recreation
Break camps
Winter break, spring break and no-school-day camps. Full-day and half-day. Mornings fill fastest at parks sites.
Summer camps
Week-long half-day and full-day camps at your centers, ages 3 to 12, grouped by age.
Weekly classes
Eight-week after-school or evening classes at your facility, in your catalog.
Preschool STEAM
Forty-five-minute programs for ages 3 to 5 at your centers.
Community events
Family STEM nights and event tables for your community celebrations.

How it works
- Send us your catalog deadline. We deliver descriptions, photos, pricing and dates before it.
- Choose the model. Your registration system with a per-camper rate, or ours.
- We run every session. Instructors early, roster check-in, headcounts at every transition, authorized-adult pickup.
- Renew the next season. Numbers and feedback after every session, and dates for the next season ready before your next deadline.
What you can count on
- Screened and trained instructors. Background checked and trained in child protection and mandatory reporting before the first class, with annual safety and first aid refreshers. Fewer than 10% of applicants are hired.
- Insurance on file. General liability with abuse and molestation coverage. A certificate of insurance naming your organization, on request.
- Attendance for every session. Live rosters and digital attendance, every session, every site.
- Catalog deadlines met. Copy, photos and pricing in your format, before your date.
- Inclusion built in. A familiar support adult is always welcome, and we confirm accommodations before camp.
- Minimums and cancellations stated up front. You know the numbers before you publish.

Can you register through our system?
Yes. Several parks partners run registration in their own systems and pay Journey to STEAM per registration. Others send families to enrops. Your choice.
What do you need from us?
A room with tables, your catalog deadline and your date range. We bring every material.
Do you provide a certificate of insurance and background checks?
Yes. A COI naming your agency as additional insured, and documentation of our screening and training for each instructor.
What ages?
Ages 3 to 12, grouped by age. Full-day camps for ages 6 to 10. Preschool camps are half-day only.
Which parks departments do you work with?
Happy Valley, Hillsboro, Vancouver, West Linn, Forest Grove, Camas, Lake Oswego, Tigard and Chehalem, among others, plus Multnomah County Library.
What are your minimums?
We confirm a minimum per camp with you before you publish, and we tell you three weeks out where each camp stands.
